Since our first issue in 1989, both artists and studio tours have played an important role in the development of The Country Connection Magazine as a forum for the arts in Ontario and western Quebec.

Again in 2011, the summer/autumn issue will feature the studio tours of rural Ontario and western Quebec. Regular readers look forward to our listings of the numerous studio tours, galleries, exhibitions, artists and artisans that abound in the region. A handy form is provided below for your convenience.

STUDIO TOUR CALENDAR & MAP: Please send us the dates and times for your tour. A brief 50 word synopsis of your tour will be included in our list of tours, and will published in our hard-copy magazine, digital magazine, and on our website. Listings are free if your tour has purchased a display ad, if not, a $70.00 + $9.10 HST fee will be charged.

MAP INFORMATION: Be sure that your tour is represented correctly on the double page map by sending us a copy of your tour’s brochure as soon as possible. Studio tours are also encouraged to advertise with word listings in the winter/spring issue for a charge of $50 + $6.50 HST.

DEADLINE: The deadline for inclusion in the summer/autumn issue is May 15, 2011. If you have trouble meeting this deadline, but would still like to participate, please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your space. All space will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be listed in chronological order by date. Listings will be entered on our website as soon as possible.
